Maria Tahir Chaudhary is a practicing advocate, enrolled on the Sindh Bar Council's roll of advocates with rights to practice as an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan. She holds a BA LLB (Hons) and LLM from Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of law. Her practice covers a diverse range of legal areas, including Intellectual Property laws, Consumer laws, Defamation laws, Media laws, Employment laws, Rental laws, Environmental Protection laws, Domestic Violence laws, Workplace Harassment laws, Human Rights laws, Family laws, Land and Property laws. Ms. Chaudhary regularly appears and conducts proceedings before the District and Session Courts/Tribunals and High Courts of Pakistan.
She has experience appearing before various governmental departments and offices, including the Registrar of Trademarks, Copyrights and Patents, the Federal and Provincial Ombudsman, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), the Environmental Protection Agency, and other authorities to assist clients. She is also experienced in registering Non-Governmental Organizations, Trusts, Cooperative Societies, Partnerships, and Companies. Ms. Chaudhary provides legal advice to clients on laws pertaining to National Freight and Logistics Policies, and she assists clients in drafting their contracts and agreements. Additionally, she advises clients on Competition laws and helps protect them from deceptive marketing practices and anti-competitive behaviours.
